Goodmorning!
THE ANGELUS

Formerly, at the sound of bells, Catholics used to kneel down to pray the,""Angel of the Lord"". St. Charles Borromeo even descended from his carriage to recite it on his knees on the road, many times even in mud.
The recitation od the Angelus dates back from the time of the CRusades, and was prescribed by POpe Bl. Urban II in memory of the Annunciation of Mary-whosw feast is celebrated on March 25-the real beginning of the new era of grace and reconciliation of humanity with God.
In some countries like Italy and Germany, in the past the faithful began to recite it also in the morning. The""Angel of the Lord"" contains the chief mystery of our redemption, i.e. the Incarnation. We are professing our faith in it through its recital.
Those who did not pray the Angelus at the tolling of church bells were suspected of being Protestants or heretics.
From the book by Swami Vivekananda on education( the book was awarded as first prize to me for my proficiency in first semester in the year 1991)....
There is only one method by which to attain knowledge, that which is called concentration. The very essence of education is concentration of mind. From the lowest man to the higest yogi, all have to use the same method to attain knowledge. The Chemist who works in his laboratory concentrates all the powers of his mind, brings them into one focus, and throws them on the elements; the elements stand analysed, and thus the knowledge comes. The astronomer concentrates the powers of his mind and brings them into focus; and he throws them on to objects through his telescope; and stars and systems roll forward and give up their secrets to him. So it is in every case: with the professor in his chair, the student with his book, with every man who is working to know. The more the power of concentration, the greater the knowledge that is acquired.
Have a wonderful day!
