Some people seem to think that,even in the time of Christ's Apostles, Christians lived and died with the complete Bible in their hands. NOthing could be further than the truth.
The last part of the New Testament was not written by the Apostle John until some sixty years after the crucifixion of Christ. There was no Bible in anything resembling its complete form until several hundreds of years had passed. Yet, during these years, Christ's Church had spread throughout the world...millions of Christians had gone to their Maker...thousands upon thousands of martyrs had given up their life for the Catholic Faith.
THe plain fact of the matter is:the Catholic Church and the Cathoic Faith existed before the Catholic Bible, or any other Bible.People became Catholics through the teachings of the Apostles and missionaries whom the Apostles ordained. THey believed the truths as Christ commanded, were baptized and died enjoying the fruits of Christ's Redemption, long before they ever saw or read- or could possibly see or read- a single inspired sentence of the New testament.
.....The writers of the New Testament left their Gospels for the use of Christ's Church. One often supplied informtaion that had been omitted by others. Yet none pretended to give a complete and systematic account of Christ's doctrine.
...... Protestants say that the Bible has more authority than the Church. This article shows the contrary. Revelation has two sources, the Bible and Tradition. Tradition is safeguarded by the Church, and it is more important than the Bible: the part of written down tradition

The campaign for Tobacco- Free Kids revealed important information on how cigarettes have changed in the last five decades.
""THey took a deadly and addictive product and made it worse, putting smokers at even greater risk of addictions, disease and death,"" says the report, entitled Designed for Addiction.
THe manufacturers have raised the levels of nicotine and added ammonia, which increases the speed of nicotine transfer to the brain.
For awareness for our today's generation of kids, hope the following picture from the magazine helps.
THe companies have spent sums to research teh design of their products and ensure they achieve their goals, although these changes enable the product to have a more dangerous impact.
In India, smoking in public places was prohibited nationwide from 2 October 2008 under the Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules, 2008 and COTPA( THe control of Tobacoo products Act.)
Finally a few words on education by Swami Vivekananda....
The one thing that ia at the the root of all evils in India is the condition of the poor. Suppose you open a free school in India in every village, still it would do no good, for the poverty in India is such that the poor boys would rather go to help their fathers in the fields or otherwise try to make aliving than come to school. Now if the mountain does not come to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to the mountain. If the poor boy cannot come to education, the education must go to him.
